The Barometer questioned visitors' experiences of attending resorts in the previous two years, asking their opinions of the types of experiences and technologies they have encountered, and what they would like to see in the future.

No longer do guests want to queue for rides, wait for a table and food to be ordered, pay for merchandise with cash, or book experiences whilst already at the resort. 

The report, launched in November 2016, found that overall visitors want to receive a single, integrated and digital resort experience, particularly with the ability to pre-book their trip, and during their visit be able to purchase and order anything using cashless devices.
